Directioners Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson want to tell you you’re beautiful and flawless!
One Direction does it again. A lyric video of their newest single, ‘Little Things,’ was released this morning, receiving more than one million views and 170,000 likes in less than a day. Those numbers are not surprising, given their young and adoring fan base of more than 7,400,000 followers on Twitter.
‘Little Things,’ a mid-tempo serenade by British songwriter Ed Sheeran, is a love song to a girl who is loved for the flaws, shortcomings, and “little things” that make her the person she is. The song says, “I won’t let these little things slip out of my mouth, but if I do, it’s you, they add up to. I’m in love with you and all these little things.” The song continues, “You’ll never love yourself half as much as I love you. You’ll never treat yourself right darlin’ but I want you to.”
The single was a followup to their hit, ‘Live While We’re Young’ from their album Take Me Home, that is scheduled for release on November 12, 2012.
