Even though this video originally made the rounds back in 2012 we still get chills every time we view it.
Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye wrote and performed “When Love Arrives” as part of Project V.O.I.C.E at the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne, Australia and two years later the reverberations are still felt by everyone who had the opportunity to hear this raw portrayal of how love changes, grows and evolves — and how it forever changes us.
If you haven’t experienced this powerful performance for yourself, we invite you to do so right now. For those who are familiar with it, we encourage you to take a few minutes to revisit this wonderful poem. Media giants such as Upworthy and Huffington Post have done just that in recent weeks, picking the video back up and sharing it with their readers, proving a work of art such as this only gets better with time.
