Man Makes $10,000 a Month with a Pen and Potatoes

Everyone dreams of finding their calling in life and making a living doing more than just punching numbers inside a cubicle.

That’s why Alex Craig came up with the idea of Potato Parcel. It’s an absolutely ridiculous and genius venture: sending anonymous, personalized potatoes in the mail. In just three months, it has become a thriving business.

Seems ridiculous right? His girlfriend thought so too.

He discussed the business with her over dinner one night and she told him, “You will not sell a single potato. This is the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard.”

However, he followed his intuition and launched Potato Pacel anyways. Since then, he has sold over 2,000 potatoes and has made about $30,000 in profit.

The hashtag #PotatoParcel was created for people to post photos of the potatoes they received. After reading Craig’s story, all I’m thinking is, “Why didn’t I think of that?!”
