June 14th can’t come soon enough!
Warner Bros. has released the second official trailer to their blockbuster feature film for next summer: Man of Steel. Director Zack Snyder’s latest tease still offers a lot of focus on a young Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) finding his way in the world. However, this time we also see Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and get glimpses of the action, which looks incredible– particularly the inclusion of Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod, who originally appeared in the classic (and best) Superman movie, Superman II.
G4 described it best this way:
While lacking Terence Stamp’s black baggy disco jumpsuit seemingly stolen from the dressing room of an ABBA concert in 1978, Shannon’s version sports some cool battle armor, a telling goatee, and the right kind of arrogant smirk that makes us look forward to hating him and his band of Kryptonian fugitives.
Check out all the goodness in the trailer above.
