Man Records His Own Car Crash Rescue from Inside His Vehicle

A young man in British Columbia recently crashed his car into a pole after falling asleep behind the wheel. The gnarly crash required an emergency rescue with a fire crew cutting into the car using power tools to free the man before transporting him to the hospital.

While we’ve seen many  car crash rescues, what sets this one apart is that it’s filmed from the inside. Andrew Mac, the man who was involved in the accident, grabbed his camera and started filming as the rescue crew worked on retrieving him from the scene.

Watch as a very calm – and humorous – Andrew patiently waits as grating tools cut into his car and jokes around with the firemen about getting hot nurses at the hospital.

Watch the first-hand experience.

And if you’re wondering, Andrew is doing well and on his way to a full recovery according to Pixable
