The love affair began 73-years-ago when Howard Solari married his beautiful wife Laura. When Howard was sent away to Europe during World War 2, the song “You’ll Never Know” by Rosemary Clooney became his wife’s ultimate comforter.

Following his return, the song continued to be the couple’s favorite. It wasn’t unusual for them to serenade each other in front of family and friends as the years progressed. And then 50 years into their marriage they decided to renew their vows and chose to sing the song.

A handful of days ago, Erin Solari witnessed something so beautiful, she couldn’t help but share it with the world. As you’ll see within the above video, her grandfather begins singing to Laura with all the love he owns in his being.

Erin writes on YouTube, “Moments before this video began, when Grandma heard that Grandpa was in the room, she asked if she could hold him. Grandpa cannot stand on his own, but he immediately pulled his wheelchair close to her bed ready to make it happen.”

Get your tissues ready for this video. It is the ultimate testament of never-ending love.
