A Florida woman is in jail after her husband captured her physically abusing him on camera. And the abuse is… well… nuts.

In the video above, Michael (his last name is being withheld “because he is a victim of domestic violence”) is seen reaching into the back of the car to unbuckle one of his twin sons. Suddenly, he screams in pain and jerks back — but when you scan the video slowly you can see in the bottom right hand corner what appears to be the hand of 37-year-old Corinne Novak as she forcefully grabs his genitals.

“Go ahead and call the police,” Novak can be heard saying on the video. “I’m going to tell them that you just assaulted me.”

In a world where women are normally the victims of domestic violence, it’s that kind of statement that motivated Michael to begin carrying the GoPro in hopes of catching her in the act. He and is wife are in the middle of a long divorce and custody battle over their twin 2-year-olds, and needless to say it’s been difficult.

“This is just one of many instances where I’ve had to use the camera to either prove her guilt or prove my innocence and that’s the only reason I am carrying it,” Michael said.

“We have court coming up so hopefully it goes to show a little bit of validity to what I’ve been doing and what I’ve been saying and disapproving what she’s been saying,” Michael said. “It seems to be overlooked when the man is a victim of domestic violence.”
