A man was arrested in Nebraska when cops found marijuana inside a container he was carrying with a handwritten label reading ‘Not Weed.’
Police stopped Jordan Meier on Saturday night for a traffic violation. That’s when they found the tub and the suspicious label during a car search.
The 21-year-old admitted the marijuana belonged to him, and was then arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and cited for having less than an ounce of marijuana.
Lancaster County Police outlined the incident in the following statement.
The deputy arrested the driver for DUI, an inventory search of the vehicle yielded a 16 oz Sour Cream container labeled with a permanent marker “Not Weed”. The container contained 11.5 grams of suspected marijuana. The driver was cited for DUI and Possession of Marijuana, less than an ounce.
In Nebraska possession of less than one ounce is an infraction and is punishable by a maximum fine of $300, according to Daily Mail.
