Former star of TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” Josh Duggar was revealed to have had at least two accounts on the infamous dating site Ashley Madison. Ashley Madison offers married people a way to seek out partners for extramarital affairs.
Now in recent news not only was it revealed that Duggar had accounts, he has admitted to cheating on his wife and viewing pornography.
E! Online reported that he has ‘fessed up on the Duggar family site.
I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.
He also apologized for the pain he cause his family and fans and asked forgiveness for his actions.
Josh Duggar, who was also recently implicated in a child sexual molestation scandal from his teen years, has been married since 2008 and has four children.
The information was released this week by hackers who stole data on thousands of the site’s members.
Business Insider reported the details that we know so far, that link the 27-year-old Duggar son to two memberships. A credit card in Duggar’s name appears in the link, and paid almost $1,000 for membership from February 2013 to May 2015.
The credit card has a billing address that matches a Duggar family home in Arkansas.
The data also revealed some details from Duggar’s profiles, including what kind of partner he was looking for and specific sex acts that he was seeking.
These included “experimenting with sex toys,” oral sex, “sharing fantasies,” and “sex talk.”
The years Duggar was an active member of the cheating site overlap with the years he worked as an executive for the Family Research Council, during which he lobbied against various causes—including same-sex marriage.
