Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Ink Their Love

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced their engagement this past June. Of course the next step in their relationship was getting matching tattoos to permanently ink their love.

The couple was seen on Thursday with matching tattoos from Theodore Roosevelt’s famous inaugural speech in Paris on April 23, 1910 on the inside of their arms. Cyrus’ tattoo begins, “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat,” while Liam’s continues, “If he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly.”

Although romantic, the famous couple is not the first to express their long-lasting devotion through matching tattoos.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand had “go with the flow” In Sanskrit enscribed on their arms before they said ‘I do’.  When splitting up, Russell Brand said the couple was “incompatible”. So much for wanting to “go with the flow.”

Reality star Khloe Kardashian and athlete husband Lamar Odom have each other’s initials inscribed on their hands. She apparently came up with the spontaneous idea to have them bonded in ink forever while having dinner at Sunset Plaza.

Singer Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are another couple that got inked together (below, left). Carey has “Mrs. Cannon” tattoed on her lower back while the America’s Got Talent host has “Mariah” on his shoulders. How else would the couple have proved their getaway marriage in the Bahamas?

24-year-old songstress Rihanna and Chris Brown (below, right), when happily dating, inked the same tattoo of small stars behind their ears. It is also rumored that Chris Brown’s new neck art of a beaten woman resembles his now- ex.
