Tokyo Cafe Lets Lonely Diners Eat with Stuffed Animals

The Moomin Café in Tokyo, Japan, is making dining alone a little less lonely.

If you thought it was strange to grab dinner alone, how much more silly would you feel dining alongside a giant Moomin?

By offering customers the opportunity to eat next to a hippo-like character from a series of popular Finnish picture books, the café believes it has solved the problem of loneliness that often plagues single diners.

What do you think? Would you rather sit across from a stuffed animal than an empty seat?
