Mother Avenges the Death of Her Daughter by Burning Down Rapist Killer’s Home

Five years ago, Diena Thompson’s little girl was raped and killed by pedophile Jared Harrell. Still haunted by her loss, Thompson watched with joy as the house where her daughter was brutally murdered burned to the ground.

Thompson was invited by firefighters to throw the first flare to begin the inferno.

“I get to burn their house down,“ Thompson told WJXT at the scene. “I am the big bad wolf this time, knocking down your door.”

Somer was only seven-years-old when Harrell lured her into his house while she was walking home from school in Jacksonville, Florida, with her siblings and friends. Her body was later discovered by police in a landfill in Georgia.

After the house went into foreclosure, the bank donated it to a charity that was set up for Somer. Then, her mother donated the property to the Orange Park Fire Department so it could be utilized for training exercises. When the training was over, she had the fulfillment of seeing it turn to ash.

Harrell is currently serving six life sentences in prison.
