They linked arms and ran in front of a train. Celise McLean and her 17-year-old daughter Leia committed suicide together by jumping in front of a high-speed train during rush-hour. According to Express, the two had their last meal at a KFC before heading down to the Ealing Broadway station in London.
Nearby witnesses said the two looked to be nervous, before their deaths. Apparently Celise put down her bag before joining arms with her daughter and running off. Officials identified them by a bank card found in that bag.
Police also found that Celise has a younger son, who came home to a stack of letters left for different people – farewell letters from his mom and sister. A coroner has declared that both of the deaths were in fact suicide.
