The body of a 90-year-old woman was found inside a San Francisco home. It was identified as Anna Ragin, who owned and lived at the house when she was alive.
According to her neighbors, she hadn’t been seen for about 7 years. Her daughter Carolyn also lived at the home and has been seen regularly walking her dog.
Supposedly, Carolyn had called a tax consultant for help and revealed that her mother’s mummified body was on the premise.
Police reported the house is filled with trash. “The hoarding is reportedly so bad that it’s up to the ceiling,” said District supervisor Eric Mar.
The clutter included 300 bottles of urine. Toxic mold was also found.
After several days of trash removal, Anna’s body was removed. It was wrapped in a blanket.
Neighbors say that Carolyn was very attached to her mom and couldn’t let her go.
