WATCH: Nick Loeb Sues Sofia Vergara Over Their Frozen Embryos, Alleges Abuse on Her Part

Loeb and Vergara broke up a year ago, but a fertility clinic still has their cryopreserved embryos dating back to November 2013. Now, they can’t get on the same page about what to do with the embryos, which are still intact.

Loeb is now taking legal action to ensure that the frozen embryos aren’t thawed and destroyed. According to the lawsuit, which was filed in August and again in April of this year, Vergara “refuses to agree to their preservation under all circumstances.”

Not only is Loeb suing Vergara, but he’s suing the fertility clinic for not having the estranged couple sign paperwork regarding the fate of the embryos in the event of a breakup. He’s hoping that by suing the clinic, he can stop them (if not Vergara) from destroying the embryos.

The legal documents, acquired by The Insider With Yahoo, not only get into the details of the former couples disagreements about what to do with the embryos, but they also reveal alleged abuse on Vergara’s part:  “Jane insisted that John agree to the destruction of the Female Embryos under that circumstance, and began vigorously berating him in the offices.”

“She punched him in the face on two occasions, kicked him, and threw her phone at his head. She also routinely bullied him, calling him a ‘loser,’ ‘worthless’ and other degrading names,” the documents reveal.

Vergara has not commented publicly on the matter. She seems more focused on planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé and True Blood heartthrob Joe Manganiello.
