Ruptly recently obtained insane video footage of a Shaolin Kung-fu master performing a series of incredible stunts, including trying to pierce himself with an iron spear, take a steel blade to his throat and an electrical drill to his skill.
Why? He just wants to demonstrate how martial arts has toughened up his body over the years.
“I believe in making my body super tough” said the 24-year-old to The Daily Mail. “Believe it or not, I used to be quite nervous as a youngster but now that I can break stones with my head I have found it has given me lots of self-confidence.”
Rui started learning martial arts when he was a child, joined a Shaolin temple at 16 — where he studied for two years to become a monk – and then continued with his Kung-Fu training.
And from the looks of it, all those years of hard work have certainly paid off.
