Octopus Makes Its Own Quicksand Underwater and Then Disappears into It (VIDEO)

In the world of invertebrates, octopuses are some of the smartest. They also have phenomenal camouflage capabilities, brilliant hunting and hiding skills, can escape through impossibly tiny holes, squirt out poison, exert a force greater than their own body weight and mimic the appearance of other sea creatures.

Apparently, they can even make their own quicksand underwater.

The southern sand octopus is the first cephalopod found to build underwater hideout bu burrowing through quicksand.
