FRANKENWEENIE

Tim Burton returns with Frankenweenie, a story about a young boy named Victor who harnesses the power of science to bring back his beloved dog Sparky to life. Failing to keep his creation under wraps, Victor finds out a new “leash on life” can have disastrous consequences when his friends and townspeople try their hands on his science experiment. Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Martin Landau and Catherine O’Hara star in this animated horror film.

PITCH PERFECT
(PG-13)

After last week’s limited opening, Pitch Perfect will get its nation-wide release this weekend. This movie about a female college a cappella group – composed of mean girls, nice girls and weird girls- stars Anna Kendric Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson. Kendric plays Beca, an unlikely leader who takes the group out of their traditional arrangement world and into a world of exciting new mash-ups as they fight their way to the top. This is the perfect movie if you want to laugh, sing along, and have a good time.

TAKEN 2
(PG-13)

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent who did whatever it took to save his daughter’s lifre from kidnappers. In Taken 2, Mills and his wife are taken hostage in Istabul by the father of one of the villains Mills has killed. With his daughter Kim’s help, the duo fight to escape as Bryan uses his unique tactics to get his family out of harm’s way and get rid of the kidnappers at the same time. The thriller also stars Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen and Rade Serbedzija alongside Neeson.
