A Few of Earth’s Most Exotic Creatures Captured Up-Close (PHOTOS)
Singapore-based photographer Nicky Bay travels to some of the most remote locations on Earth to document Mother Nature’s diverse magnificence.
In 2014, he escaped on 46 adventurous photo shoots in a quest to capture macro images of arachnids, insects, and fungi.
During these excursions, Bay encountered countless exotic creatures that looked like they belonged in a sci-fi film, instead of in the forest.
Our favorite creature by far is this particular species of moth that constructs a cage out of it own caterpillar spines to defend itself against predators while in pupal stage.
