La Bonne Biere, a Paris cafe where five people were killed during the terror attacks last month, was the first business to reopen its doors.
Patrons were happy to see that the bullet riddled windows were replaced, and they’re favorite place was back to normal.
The owners of the cafe told the public, “It is time for us to gather together again, united, and to go forward in order not to forget.”
A welcome sign at the door of the cafe offers a bit of inspiration to visitors. Also, a banner above the entrance read, “Je suis en terrasse, ” which translates to “I am on the terrace.” This is a message of defiance that is now popular among Parisians following the attacks.
