Lunchtime fights are definitely not how we remembered them growing up. These days, instead of having the fight broken up a little, old math teacher and being sent to the principal’s office, teenagers are being knocked out by police officers.
In the video above, you can see the officer attempting to break up a fight between two girls at Ernest Righetti High School in Central California, but then he ends up punching one of them in the face and hauling her away.
According to a sheriff’s statement, the girl refused to comply with the deputy, while her friends pushed and hit him.
Students watching what was going on were heated after seeing him hit her, and the immediately began rushing toward him. Food was even thrown at some point.
The violent altercation ended with the school shutting down and six students were placed under arrest.
