April Fools’ Day pranks are often nasty and cruel.
But they don’t always have to be.
Have you ever heard of pranking it forward? If not, after watching the above video, you may want to start organizing a prank of your own.
When Break.com decided to prank it forward for Chelsea Roff, a struggling waitress, the results are amazing.
In fact, what they did was give her the best shift, ever!
With a little assistance from her colleagues and friends, this compassionate prank not only made Roff’s day, it gave her a new lease on life.
“She struggled financially, had to raise her little sister from when she was just a girl, overcame a severe eating disorder, and her car is a complete piece of junk,” says presenter Kevin Brueck as he describes the life of this Springstreet Smoke House waitress. “The limited free time that Chelsea does have is spent running her own non-profit that helps people recover from eating disorders through yoga. If anybody could use a break, it’s Chelsea.”
During the prank, fake customers end up tipping Chelsea $1,000, an all-expenses paid trip for two to Hawaii, a dream job offer, and… a brand new car.
