Rare Footage from an Illegal Rave in 1989 Will Make Some People Want to Step Back in Time (VIDEO)

There’s a reason the summer of both 1988 and 1989 in Britain were called the Second Summer of Love. This period in time saw the rise of electronic music as well as the increase in raves packed with people high on MDMA.

The raves were either held in derelict, abandoned buildings where it was illegal to trespass, or empty airplane hangars.

In the rare video footage above, you’ll see what life was like for people who attended illegal raves in 1989. For some people, watching it will make them want to step back in time.
