Reese Witherspoon Goes ‘Legally Blonde’ After Arrest

According to a report by the Huffington Post, Witherspoon appeared quite happy and revived as she rooted for her son from the sidelines.

The 37-year-old actress made headlines in April when she challenged a police officer during a traffic stop, with her husband as driver. Toth was charged with a DUI and Witherspoon arrested for refusing to stay in the car and mouthing off to the officer. At that time, she sported brown locks for a recent role in “The Good Lie.”

“I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation,” said Witherspoon in a statement released surrounding the arrest. “It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. The words I used that night definitely do not reflect who I am. I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior.”

At First to Know, we give Witherspoon two thumbs up for the return of her traditional blonde do.

She and her family appeared in good spirits as they enjoyed a day on the field.
