Roberta Mancino is a beautiful swimwear model, and we’re pretty sure she’s insane.
Mancino spent 10 hours swimming with deadly crocodiles off the coast of Mexico recently. First she dove down wearing a mask, which is supposed to be somehow protective. She then took off the mask and after a few hours of just hanging out in the water, the animals eventually became used to her presence and didn’t seem to want to attack her. These calm (dare I say sweet) moments allowed photographers to capture some really cool footage of the model being absolutely crazy.
As for Mancino, it seems that crocodiles are not the only animals on her list:
“I have a list of animals which I would love to swim with, so it was one of my dreams to swim with crocodiles,” she told Unilad. “I have wanted to do this project for six years but I could never find someone to fund it because it is so dangerous. Obviously I don’t want everyone to start swimming with crocodiles but I wanted to show that they are not bad animals.”
It’s true. After seeing that she wasn’t eaten alive, I’ve wondered if maybe crocodiles and their sharp teeth aren’t so bad after all. Would I volunteer to do what Mancino did? Hell no! Would you?
