Want to be completely freaked out? The above video features five of the creepiest Ouija board stories ever told.
According to the Smithsonian, the first Ouija boards were advertised in February of 1891. Such boards were meant for amusement and delving into the “known and unknown, the material and immaterial.” The asking price for each board was $1.50.
It was made up of a flat board with each letter of the alphabet, the numbers 0 through 9, and the words “yes” and “no.” At least two people would then guide a teardrop-shaped device around the board after a question was posed.
The board is used in the same manner today, and has long been considered by many (especially the religious) a dangerous and evil device. Others consider the board a silly amusement.
There have been numerous crazy stories that have resulted from its use, as revealed in the above video. Because of the many strange incidents surrounding the use of this board, we don’t recommend anyone running to the store to purchase one.
WARNING: The stories in this video are quite troubling and aren’t recommended for all eyes and ears.
