Cutting a watermelon is hard enough. First, you need to find a knife big enough to make it though the giant fruit. Second, you have to figure out your approach, where will the first cut be?
NASA engineer Mark Rober, put his ninja knife skills to the test and explained to his 258,363 YouTube subscribers his highly unusual, but very creative, method of perfectly slicing the rind off a melon. Since it was uploaded just three days ago, the video has been viewed over eight million times.
According to Rober the whole process takes about 10 minutes and can be done with any size watermelon. This looks like the perfect party trick for the upcoming long Labor day weekend!
