We rounded up the best dressed ladies and gentlemen from last night’s Grammy awards. Now it’s time for the fun part: weeding out the worst dressed. Yes, we do get a slight amount of joy out of this.
The night delivered a lot of A-plus fashion knockouts, but those who missed the mark were in no short supply.
Case in point: We love Kimbra, who shot to fame after her duo with Gotye for “Somebody That I Used to Know.” The song might have won the Record of the Year award, but the dress Kimbra wore to accept the award got no points.
The white tulle disaster looked like she ran through a chicken coup with hen feed glued all over her.
Simlarly we’re absolute fans of Florence Welch. With her gorgeous red hair, the idea behind picking a green hue was right, but the actual sequin gown by Riccardo Tisci didn’t quite translate the way we hoped it would. The head to toe metallic green color, and the dinosaur-like spikes across her chest and arms was all just a little too much.
Then there were the down-right bizarre. We’re talking about Estonian singer, Kerli’s, devil horns and model Lisa D’Amato’s pink, white and black striped mess, among others.
Check out the rest of the stars who missed the spot at last night’s award show.
