Starting May 12, Häagen-Dazs will be selling vegetable ice cream in Japan. The video above lays out some of the details behind the interesting new flavor trend, but here are some of the basics.
The experimental dessert, called Spoon Vege, has two flavors so far: Tomato Cherry and Carrot Orange.
Here is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who feels guilty about their sweet treat. Instead of eating chocolate chip or strawberry cheesecake-flavored ice cream to relax, they can enjoy something sweet and healthy without feeling too guilty.
Would you dare to try it? Will it catch on in the United States? Check out the video and decide for yourself.
