Horrific Discovery in Storage Unit Leads to Multiple Arrests

After a report from the Plumas County Child Protective Services department about a 9-year-old girl being abused in Quincy, police began to investigate. The young girl who is now undergoing surgery because of her multiple injuries is considered one of the lucky ones in this case.

As officials began to search the home of Tami Joy Huntsman, 39, and Gonzalo Curiel, 17, they were led to a storage unit in Redding, California. Inside that storage locker is where the bodies of two children ages three and five were found. According to KSBW, all three children were related and that Huntsman is a distant relative.

There is no word on how or when the two young kids died.
