Honor Roll Student Murders Both Parents After They Take Away His iPod

Vincent Parker, a 16-year-old from Norfolk, Virginia, just pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in court this week for killing his parents.

The reason for the heinous crime? Apparently, his parents took away his much-needed technology, an iPod, as part of a routine punishment.

“I just remember getting mad,” Parker told investigators. “It’s all from my dad. All this stuff like my dad taking away my iPod and stuff.”

Details of the murders are really grisly.

The CBS affiliate WTKR reported that Parker first assaulted his mother by soaking her in pepper spray, stabbing her in the eye and then continued to beat her with a baseball bat and crowbar until she stopped breathing.

Afterward, when his father arrived home, the teenager proceeded to bludgeon him with the crowbar, before stabbing him several times.

Family members are confused with what happened, especially considering that he was an honor roll student with no previous criminal history.

His sentence will be handed down in September.
