The Infamous ‘Keeper Ghost’ Caught on Newly Released Video

The story of Keeper Ghost is a well-known legend. This frightening ghost apparently inhabits the Tutbury Castle in England but is not the only resident ghost. Those who’ve seen the Keeper Ghost in the past describe him as a man in a suit of armour known for shouting at guests.

The footage shows the Keeper Ghost’s shadow moving through the castle. The video was shot by ghost hunters who’d set up to film a series about the famous ghost. This is the first time ever that anyone’s been able to capture any paranormal activity in any real way.

In the video above, Bex Palmer, co-director of The Past Hunters, is seen pointing out the figure before clinging to psychic medium Derek Acorah in fear.
There is no one else there to throw a shadow, so many agree that they captured some seriously eerie paranormal activity. She told the Mirror:

“I’ve seen a lot of things but I still react the same way every time – I clutched onto [Derek], petrified. The figure stood there for a while, made its way across the room as though it was coming towards us and we then lost sight of it. To be sure that what we’d seen wasn’t a shadow from one of the team, the cameraman swooped around the room with the camera to check no-one else was there.
We normally like to try and debunk things that we see because we still sit on the fence when it comes to ghosts, but we don’t think there’s any other explanation for what we saw.”

According to the crew, before the footage was taken, they all heard a series of taps, footsteps and bangs that came from nowhere.

Tutbury castle’s website states:

Wearing a full suit of armour, and behaving in a manner that might best be described as authoritative, this ghostly figure has been seen stepping out in John of Gaunt’s Gateway and bellowing “Get thee hence!”
Although last sighted in daylight about four years ago, by a visitor who complained that an idiot of an enactor had told him to “get over the fence,” recent increases in paranormal activity might suggest that another visit could be imminent.

Another ghost who allegedly visits Tutbury castle is Mary Queen of Scots, who was held captive at the castle under Queen Elizabeth I on four occasions.

Tell us what you think about the video. Do you think it’s a ghost? If not, how do you explain the shadow when there are no people anywhere near the wall?
