If you are poet Neil Hilborn, having OCD doesn’t mean his brain just gets stuck on a particular thought or urge. For him, things get a lot worse and tragically beautiful.
Hilborn’s performance during Individual Finals at the 2013 Rustbelt Regional Poetry Slam not only impressed the audience, but also pulled at their heartstrings.
In the comments section, Hilborn explains that the poem was written in 2011. Hilborn went on to say that since writing the poem, he has found true love.
