On Tuesday, the El Niño-fueled storm caused the San Diego River to rise to about 12 feet in some areas.
Unfortunately for people parked on the lower level of a parking structure at the Fashion Valley Mall, the flood had no mercy on their vehicles.
For one unlucky driver, discovering his car was submerged under water was enough to make his day really, really horrible. It’s not even the fact that now his engine is probably completely flooded and damaged, but that he ended up stranded at the mall.
Poor guy. We can’t help but feel a little sorry for him.
