Coconut was born into a puppy mill, and lacked social skills due to neglect—and having never experienced contact as a puppy. Coconut was considered vicious because she would snap at people who tried to touch her, out of fear and discomfort.
After Coconut’s rescue, the canine continued to shy away from anyone who tried to touch her—and her rescuers feared that she would never be adoptable.
With help from the ASPCA, trainers worked patiently with Coconut for weeks on end to help rehabilitate her and socialize her. Her journey to recovery and transformation will make your heart burst.
