WATCH: Time-Lapse Shows Artist Turning A Scribble into Amazing Artwork

Watching an artist at work can be stunning. The effect is even more astounding when watching one work in fast forward.

There are countless videos of time lapse drawing on YouTube, but this one tops them all as far as we’re concerned. The artist starts with a blind scribble and quickly turns it into a work of art, titled “Sunday in the Park,” depicting a Mary Poppins-esque woman hold two growling monkeys on leashes in a beautiful park.

It sounds weird when you type it out, but it looks great when you actually see it.

Mary Doodles, as she goes by on social media, is an artist who simply loves to draw. Her YouTube channel and deviant art page are filled to the brim with neat and stylized illustrations that go a step beyond the doodles you made in the back of math class.

Funnily enough, she’s now employed by the YouTube channel Epic Rap Battles of History, where she makes costumes and props. That’s fine with us, as long as she keeps creating art like this.
