Top 10 Car Commercials Over 25 Years

The 10 best auto commercials over the last 25 years were unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit today. Sponsored by The One Club which recognizes creative excellence in advertising, 70 top advertising executives and journalists picked 10 car commercials from 60 award-winning entries.

Popular judges like Jeff Goodby of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; Mark Tutssel of Leo Burnett Worldwide; and Cliff Freeman of Cliff Freeman & Partners narrowed the list down to popular ads from Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda, Nissan, and BMW.

And, the winners are:

Additionally, there was a public choice winner from Saatchi and Saatchi Los Angeles and Toyota for their 2012 “Camry Reinvented” commercial. Over 7,000 votes were tallied from The One Club website for the public choice.
