Two Men Emotionally Recall What It Was Like to Rescue Baby from Burning Car (VIDEO)

It was a typical Friday morning for Steven Hill and Jason Nelson. The two movers were driving on Interstate 95 in Florida when they approached a burning vehicle which had crashed on the side of the road.

As fate would have it, they happened to be in the right place, at the right time. If they would have arrived on the scene just a few minutes later, things would have taken a more tragic turn.

When the two men walked up to the car, they noticed the gentleman in the driver seat was unconscious, though when they tried to wake 31-year-old Daniel Dufek they realized he was dead. Being the good Samaritans that they are, Hill and Nelson decided to try and pull his body from the car.

But then they noticed there was a baby in the backseat. She was still alive.

“God put me there for a reason, put me and Jason there for a reason, obviously — to save that little baby,” Hill explained to First Coast News. “I just jumped back in, over the deceased father.”

It’s a day that they will never forget.

Watch as they emotionally recall the dramatic incident in the video above.
