Vin Diesel Shares ‘Emotional’ New ‘Fast & Furious 7′ Stills With Paul Walker

Universal came to visit, to show the trailer for FF7…
Speechless… yeah, it was that INCREDIBLE!
I must also say, that it was emotional and bittersweet… we all went above and beyond to make Pablo proud, but man, I wish he could see what we have created and just how far we have come.

Those were the words posted on actor Vin Diesel’s Facebook wall when he shared a few movie stills from Fast & Furious 7, which is opening in April 2015. The “Pablo” he references in the note above is, of course, his late co-star, Paul Walker, who died in a tragic car accident in November 2013. The movie was still in production at the time, and due to that event the producers needed to alter things slightly. Now it’s reported that Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, will effectively “retire” within the film, while the storyline continues on without him. Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb, were tapped to help film a few additional scenes for the narrative pivot.

Cast members joining Diesel include Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, along with newcomers Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. The story picks up where the last film left off, with Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) seeking revenge against Dom Toretto (Diesel) and his crew for the death of his brother.

Here are the full images Diesel posted on Facebook. This first one shows his character, Dom, next to Walker’s character, Brian.

He then posted this image.
