It all started when Josh Cyganik heard two teenagers making rude comments about an old man’s house while the man was sitting outside on his porch, clearly able to hear the disrespectful remarks.
The teens talked to each other about how the house should be burned down or torn down. According to ABC News, Cyganik worked across the street from the 75-year-old’s home and would wave to him every day. The first time they spoke was when Cyganik asked if he and some volunteers could paint his home.
Feeling the strong urge to help, Cyganik took to Facebook to ask for volunteers to help paint. His post was shared over 6,000 times and over 100 people came out to help transform the man’s home.
