As you’ve no-doubt heard, today is Madonna’s 54th birthday (you may want to check out the Blingee we made for Madonna now), and whether you love or hate the “Material Girl” you’ve got to admit–this lady looks GOOD! Seriously. If we can look half that hot (with maybe a tad more meat on our bones) at 54 we’ll be thrilled.
Madonna has gone through a ton of looks over the years, and on her b-day everyone seems to be offering a retrospective. Billboard has listed her videos, Huffington Post presented her scandalous photos, and we’re going to focus on her albums. Whether in CD, record, or digital download form, these albums are a reflection of three major things: pop music, fashion and the singer’s life at that particular period.
From originals releases to soundtracks to “best of” compilations, Madonna has a huge library of top selling titles—and we’re not even considering singles or foreign releases. So let’s look at Madge’s career and vote on it in two ways:
1) Pick your favorite album cover image
2) Pick your favorite album as a body of music
Then let your friends know, because we want to blow this vote wide open!
