Funnyman Tom Hanks went on The Colbert Report last night, presumably to help the host with his “Stephen Ghoulbert’s Spooky-Time Halloween Fun Guide.”
Stephen opened the show by introducing the best way to serve candy to trick-or-treaters: Have one bowl filled with candy, and a second with razor blades–this will reassure parents there is no razor blades in the candy. He then moved on to the best ways to create Halloween costumes when you’re on a budget: Start with some felt, glitter, and a tube of glue. Put it all together and tell everyone you’re a kindergarten teacher!
Stephen is interrupted when the doorbell to his stage door rings. He goes to answer it and finds Tom Hanks, not there to promote his new movie Cloud Atlas. But, Stephen becomes suspicious when each child who visits the door to trick-or-treat is dressed up as one of Tom’s characters from his past movies.
How does Matt Damon factor into all this? You’ll have to watch the clip below to find out!
