WATCH: Emotional 42-Second Roller Coaster Proposal

Life definitely has it’s up-and-down moments and it’s always comforting to have someone to tackle those bumps with.

Austin Crecelius understood the concept of life being like a roller coaster when he decided to propose to his girlfriend, Allison Boyle, while they rode one together.

On top of the “Voyage” at Holiday World—which has also been voted the #1 Wooden Roller Coaster on the Plane since 2007–Creclius popped the question that will change the couples’ lives forever.

Crecilus said,

“At one point in time you had mentioned to me that life is like a roller coaster. And it’s got its up and downs, it’s got twists and turns, and it even throws you for a loop sometimes. And though you can go by yourself, it’s a lot more fun to go with another person. So I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my roller coaster buddy. Allie, will you marry me?”

Ever since the video went viral, Crecelius has had to post an apology for violating safety protocol by bringing a recording device while on the ride.

We probably won’t be seeing any more roller coaster proposals, but we can’t deny this idea was unique and courageous.
