WATCH: Justin Bieber Apologizes for Being a Douchebag — For Real

We’ve never been a website to shy away from poking fun at Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber and his devoted band of Beliebers, but this time we’re not sure if we should.

The pop singer released a video via Facebook last night, apologizing for his past behaviors. And the crazy thing is, he seems sort of sincere. Or maybe not. Maybe he’s just out of ways to get attention by being his usual douchebag self. Let’s just look at the facts, and you can decide for yourself.

He said, in part:

I’m not who I was pretending to be… We pretend to be something we’re not as a coverup of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there was a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.

Bieber filmed the apology after appearing on The Ellen Show as a surprise for the talk show host’s birthday. His first major television appearance at age 15 was also on Ellen’s show, and he admitted to being nervous, even apologizing for it later on Twitter.
