Long-Lost Siblings Meet Each Other for the Very First Time [VIDEO]

Last weekend, two long-lost siblings finally met in a very emotional reunion.

It took John Pilotte and his half-sister Susie Wilson 20 years to exchange hugs and look into each other’s eyes at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans.

According to WGNO, Pilotte was given up for adoption as a child, but had always thought about his biological family.

“I knew I had a brother and sister, but nothing more than that,” he told ABC News. “I really didn’t want to develop a relationship with my father.”

Four years ago, Wilson performed a search on Facebook that brought up Pilotte’s profile, from that point on, the rest is history. They both instantly connected when she called him on Thanksgiving day.

On Thanksgiving, I got a phone call out of the blue,” Pilotte told ABC. “She said, ‘I’m your sister.’ We talked for an hour … That was something I always wanted was to have a little sister.”
