Everyone’s been talking about meteors hitting Earth and passing by Earth, but nothing has seemed to happen so far — at least not in the U.S.
Just when you thought all those posts on your newsfeed were a bunch of bull, a video of a meteor which lit up the skies over Bangkok on Monday evening (see video above) has surfaced and it’s been going viral on social media. The bright, comet-like object flew across the sky at around 8.40pm.
In Poland, the green flash was seen Saturday just after 6 p.m. local time. The International Meteor Association said they received 60 reports about the European fireball, with some sightings even reported in the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria.
Although the one in Poland is nowhere near as vibrant as the one in Bangkok, there is a video of that too (see below):
