Bryan Clay is the best of the best. In 2008 he took home a gold medal in the decathlon from the Beijing Summer Olympics. But should he get a gold medal in parenting too?
The athlete recently posted a video in which he used his Olympic skills—specifically with a javelin—to help his daughter with a pesky loose tooth.
Despite the fact that he hasn’t thrown a javelin in competition for three years, he rigged his daughter’s mouth with a string attached to his spear and just kind of went for it. It’s similar to the parents who tie a string to the child’s tooth and attach the other end to a doorknob, but this takes it to the next level.

Clay was ultimately successful. The tooth came out and his daughter, Ellie, didn’t seem too bothered. In fact, he claims it was her idea!
The video, which Clay posted to his official Twitter account, has gone viral online—with many users joking that they’ll choose the Olympian for their next dental procedure.
This reminds us of the dad who used a rocket to launch his kid’s tooth out of his mouth.
