Penelope Soto, 18, was arrested on drug charges in Tampa, Florida. According to Local 10, the teenager was booked for possessing Xanax.
Judge Rodriguez-Chomat was prepared to release her on a $5,000 bond, when Soto giggled and sarcastically remarked, “adios.”
Frustrated with her lack of tact, the judge immediately upped her bond to $10,000. Soto then responded, “Are you Serious?”
Rodriguez-Chomat sarcastically responded, “adios.”
Immediately angered, the teen exclaimed, “[Expletive] you,” and raised her middle finger in the air as she attempted to exit the courtroom.
Soto was held in contempt of court and sentenced to 30 days behind bars. Check out the full report from CNN.
