WATCH: This Is What a Fire Tornado Looks Like in Slow Motion

Ever in the pursuit of cool science and entertainment, The Slow Mo Guys on YouTube have brought one of the most terrifying—and yet still fascinating—creations yet. Yes, this is what a fire tornado looks like in slow motion.

The man-made firery column is graceful—almost elegant—in its heated spiral of death. When slowed down, and filmed at 2500 and 1000 frames per second, the flames look almost like an orange dancer.

While fire tornados are something that can occur naturally, this particular one is more of a homemade set-up, using box fans in a circle and lighter fluid.

It is not advised to try to build a fire tornado at home, so in the mean while watch this one from comfort and safety.
