Weather Reporter Told to ‘Cover Up’ on Live TV
A Los Angeles reporter got a surprise in the middle of her Saturday morning weather segment. Wearing a black sleeveless sparkly dress, Liberté Chan was interrupted by an anchor offering her a grey sweater to put on. When asked why, the anchor replied with “we’re getting a lot of emails.”
In the video below you can hear some of the comments from the show’s fans saying that Liberté’s dress was too inappropriate for the News. Many even emailed the station saying that it looked like she was wearing a cocktail dress.
However, in the meteorologists defense countless people on Twitter came to her rescue, writing that it was wrong what happened.
In the history of news, has a man been asked to change clothes – ON AIR – because viewers were unhappy with what he was wearing? @KTLA

@libertechan @KTLAMorningNews Is that shoulder I see? Be careful, the station might make you wear a burlap sack if you keep this up
